喔耶～～！I has got a Taboo game set Singapore edition ^^ And I am waiting for my Pictionary Singapore edition. ^^

Ohh and my Moshi iVisor. I heart Moshi products~! They are the best, though a bit expensive. The Moshi iVisor (screen protection for MBP) costs almost 60 Singapore dollars.I looked at the youtube review it seems pretty good.

I actually did a macstyle unboxing and application. But my camera ran out of battery then and I didn’t proceed on. Now, the skin is pretty good, though a few small bubbles haven’t settle (and doesn’t seem like it is gonna settle).

I also had the ColcaSac reviewed. But decided not to post it because… my england is pretty bad and my brother got my face on the video. And of course because they are so nice as to refund my money, I shall not flame them anymore ^^

Can’t wait to play the games during gatherings~ Need not depend on other people to supply them anymore~!

My mom is so 伟大 too. Went to Toa Payoh 2 days a week, reaching there before 7.30am to queue for me to look at the Chinese physician. Hope that it will work out well =D

And thanks to my godmother, I missed out on an awesome wedding buffet which, according to my mom, has many awesome food and dessert.

Was at the Sitex show today because I wanna buy an external HDD for my MBP and my bro wants me to help him buy an internal HDD.

Anyway, was wandering around the apple authorised dealers stores and… I must say that most promoters do not know their stuff. (not that I am pro or anything):

Customer: What’s the difference between White Macbook and the 13″ Macbook Pro (he pointed to the two models)

Promoter: Err..

Customer: Besides the design…

Promoter: Well.. The screen for MBP is made in Japan (me: oh really?? I didn’t know that… maybe it’s true)

Customer: What about white MB?

Promoter: Dunno.. Not in japan..

Promoter: And the MBP has better screen resolution (me: I always thought it is the same..)

Customer: (*not very convinced*)

Promoter: Ohh the white MB has better entry level for HDD (me: wow that’s honest =P I would be promoting the MBP instead coz it is more expensive)

During that conversation, I was kindda looking to see how the promoter will phail haha. So evil =P But obviously the promoter dunno the difference =P Then again, to most people the difference is probably unimportant (e.g. firewire and SD card slot).

And at the booth to buy HDD.. the people totally dunno what they are selling la =.= I’m like, is this HDD mac-compatible, the person had to look at the box super super long and yet has no conclusion =.= NOOB! I think I will make a better promoter despite being an IT idiot. Oh, the person I bought my external HDD from, she was like, ‘if I use windows I will just buy the normal one, and if I use mac I will buy the one for Mac’. Obviously she doesn’t know my needs coz I want windows on my Mac and am actually asking if part of the HDD can be for Mac and part for Windows. But I gave up in the end to make life easier for myself and just buy the one that’s formatted for Mac already.

BTW, they are also selling fake iphones and ipods.  Unsurprisingly, they are sold by PRCs.. not that I look down on them or what. I wonder if it is illegal…

I think I am a very lucky person. Things always eventually work out for me, and often the solution is unexpected =D

In my case, I have been wanting to ship my Colcasac back for a refund because I am disappointed with the interior. Anyway, I had contacted the customer service through email and then after a few correspondence, and perhaps investigations (?) on their side, they found that actually, there’s a batch of Colcasac that was manufactured wrongly with the wrong interior lining – which is what I had received.

So they offered to gimme a free exchange or a FULL refund…. and the GREAT THING IS… I dun have to go all the way to Paya Lebar to ship my colcasac back coz they acknowledged that it is their fault. HOW COOL IS THAT!! Anyway, I am not very happy with the exterior of the the colcasac either, so I opted for a refund, which they had credited into my account. Will have to wait to see if it has really been refunded!

Anyway, now I have a substandard colcasac and I might be looking to buy another nice sleeve ^^

Whatever the case, I’m not going to put them down anymore coz their customer service is AWESOME (well coz the things go in my favour). Most people online are happy with their colcasac purchase. Mine is just a case that goes wrong ^^

Had a fengshui master read my 生辰八字 yesterday. Apparently I will have a very BUSY life (which I utterly hate) and then there’s also that I should have studied a financial related degree (which I quit). Sigh. I am dreading my future now =(

Was complaining about the OS the first few days I got my MBP. Now I’m pretty happy with it ^^

The desktop is so PRETTY~~! Well of course you have to have a pretty wallpaper first. And the nice thing about Mac is that you can download an application (camouflage) which can hide all ur desktop icons so that you will only see the beautiful wallpaper and not the icons – hence there’s no clutter =D

There are a few other customisable stuff that I really like. For example the MSN messenger, we use what’s called Adium where you can customise how the contact list look, the icon that appear on the dock as well as the conversation window. The good thing is that the contact list can be hidden at the side and only appear when you move your mouse over to the edge. This is good because unlike in MSN messenger, the many windows make it really messy.

And I like the itunes customisation too ^^ OMG I am so in love with the layout of my MBP now. Except the dock which is pretty ugly and I don’t think I can do anything about it =.=

I also love the expose function ~~ It’s damn cool when you allocate one of the buttons on the mouse and use expose. It looks damn pro~~!! =D

Whatever the case.. I got everything I bought for my MBP.

1) Mactatt + MacPad

Well, it’s pretty difficult to apply it.. And I didn’t do a good job applying it because…. there are a lot of bubbles and it doesn’t seem like it will settle at all. But from far I guess it looks pretty good =D

2) Applesac/Colcasac

I must say I am damn disappointed with it. The interior should be lined by FLEECE but I dunno why they changed it to FELT. Which is ugly and cheap looking. I am going to Paya Lebar to send it back for a refund and buy another case. I will not have my shipping refunded though.. Which means that it is about 20 dollars gone =.= Gonna negotiate with them because THEY MISLEAD me. I mean, I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew that the interior is FELT =.= Sigh. But seem like they wouldn’t refund me that shipping cost.

Aside from that. The exterior is pretty horrible looking. I really wonder if they gave me some defective items -.-

See the original Colcasac looks damn awesome. Mine looks horrible. The exterior looks so dull and old unlike what is in this picture.

And they cheat me bout their interior – 100% polyester sherpa fleece my ass.

3) Cheap ebay silicone keyboard cover

I must say the cheap cover is really horrible. It is not a good fit. It is a dust attractor. It is freaking ugly. Typing on it feels horrible….

4) I bought two moshi stuff online I think on Friday or Thursday and UPS arrived at my house today! They are so efficient!! I mean, the webbie said that the shipping will be 2-3 weeks and I got it in like less than three working days? How awesome is that!!

BTW the two moshi stuff I bought is the Clearguard aka their awesome silicone keyboard cover and shieldpad which served to prevent any grease from the keyboard to get onto the screen.

The Clearguard is 100000000x better than the cheapo silicone cover off ebay. It’s so thin you might not even notice it is there. And it doesn’t inhibit much of the typing at all. It’s really awesome. Shouldn’t have wasted the money buying the cheapo keyboard protector =.=

BTW. I HATE HOW PPLE CAN BE SO OVERLY AMBITIOUS AND OVERLY PERFECTIONISTIC EVEN AT THE LAST MINUTE. IT IS SHINGZING IRRITATING ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY START NITPICKING YOUR PART. GEEZ.
EDIT: LOL APPARENTLY HE IS STILL DOING THE POSTER (I SERIOUSLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT BIG CHANGE HE’S GOING TO MAKE THAT REQUIRED SO MANY HOURS COZ I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY COMPLETED THEN.. ) BUT ANYWAY, HE SAID IT WILL BE DONE BY 5AM =.= OH WELL… PERFECTIONICISM HAS ITS COST =P AND I AM GOING TO SLEEP NOW~

Coz my mom just called to say that my grandmother REJECTED the parcel sent home that is addressed to me.

Because the person says it is addressed to Yee Chien, and my grandmother had to confirmed that it is Yee Chien TAY, and that person has to say ‘no it is Yee Chien T’

WTF?! HOW MANY YEE CHIEN LIVE IN KEMBANGAN?! IN FACT, HOW MANY YEE CHIEN EVEN LIVE IN SINGAPORE?! SO IT DEFINITELY WOULDN’T BE A FREAKING COINCIDENCE THAT SOMEONE COME TO TO 37 LXXXXXXG EXXXT AND WANTS TO DELIVER A PACKAGE TO A PERSON CALLED YEE CHIEN?!?!

It finally came~ Actually it is in a brown box for more protection. The TnT guy delivered at 9 plus. Me and my bro still sleeping =.= Oh well, at least it came one day earlier than what’s written on the site =D

I HATE UPLOADING IN WORDPRESS IT SUX!

So my opinions after trying out the OS for a while (a few hours). Hrmmmm… IT’S FREAKING HARD TO USE -.- I dun understand why they say Windows is troublesome and Mac is efficient or anything. Sighh. And now I’m using my old laptop to do things now LOL. I think will need to go back and ask my didi to teach me. Aside, I am thinking if I should upgrade my xp to Windows 7 (to install on my macbook pro) and perhaps use it as my main OS…

Anyway, the previous ATM thing is something called ATM skimming where they steal ur atm info when you swipe the card at the machine, and then there’s a camera stealing your pin. At least I think that’s how that person was able to get money out of my atm account.

Whatever the case, I finally received my new ATM card… The thing is, the letter and the card wasn’t enclosed in an envelope. How weird is that? AND what’s more is that the pin, which should have reached 1 day earlier has not arrived. Or at least I can’t find it in the letter box.

Plus, I am 100% positive that my new ATM card has been swiped before. Is it normal for it to be swiped before I even use it? Do they swipe the card first to register the card in their database before sending it out? Whatever the case, with my pin not being in the letterbox as it should be, the ATM card not being enclosed in the letter box as it should be and it being swiped… It feels like the same thing is happening. Did someone steal my ATM card information again?

Oh, and the thing is, I stupidly activated the card before confirming if there’s anything wrong.

Sequence of event in my mind:

1) Steal pin

2) Steal letter with card, swipe card (while it is still pasted on the letter) to steal information, hence not enclosed in envelope coz he/she opened it

3) Put the letter back into my letterbox

4) So that I will have my card and activate it online (since he don’t have access to my netbank.com.au account

5) Activated card + pin = MONEY CAN TAKE OUT

Maybe I’m being paranoid though.. But it is too much of a coincidence. However, who have access to my letterbox (besides my bro)? It’s almost impossible that someone will be waiting for a pin and a card to arrived and then take it… Hrmm?

Whatever the case, I shifted everything I have in my account to the Netbank account so that the person using my ATM card (if there is one) won’t be able to get any money out.

Seems like I will have to make another trip to the bank. Sigh..

Aside… there’s free slurpie today at 7/11? Why? Coz it’s 7/11~!! But I found that MacDonald’s frozen coke is nicer.

THE ATM MACHINE FREAKING ATE MY ATM CARD =.=

Apparently someone in CANADA used my ATM card (how that happened I dunno, need to go bank tomorrow) so now the machine ate my card and the operator stopped my bank account. BAHHHHHH!! It’s weird, I thought it’s usually credit card that’s the problem, not ATM card? Dunno what happened..

And today is so freaking hot!

I hope it won’t affect my Macbook purchase, coz apparently while the money has been deducted from my account, it hasn’t been entirely processed by apple. AND they say 3 business days delivery… apparently.. the delivery day is 9-11 NOV =.= Can they even count! Arg.
